Martino ha undici anni e vive in un moderno
condominio di una cittadina svizzera. È solo, si
annoia e comincia a chiedersi se anche l’alberello
da poco collocato al centro del cortile non
vorrebbe, come egli stesso del resto, avere la
possibilità di scoprire il mondo. Decide così di
liberare la pianta dal cemento in cui è costretta,
riporla in un carrello della spesa, per poi
scappare insieme di notte. Sarà solo l’inizio di
una nuova fase del rapporto tra uomo e natura.
Eleven-year-old Martin lives in a modern condominium
in a Swiss town. He’s lonely and bored;
he wonders whether the tree recently planted in
the center of the courtyard might not share his
curiosity to set off and discover the world. So one
day he uproots the tree and puts it in a shopping
cart so they can escape under the cover of night.
This will be only the beginning of a new phase in
the relationship between man and nature.

Marta ha 12 anni e vive a L’Aquila, dove da
sempre è conosciuta con il soprannome di «terremoto».
Ma dopo la notte del 6 aprile 2009
nessuno riesce più a chiamarla così. Un anno
dopo l’evento che ha distrutto quasi interamente
la sua città, non rassegnandosi al fatalismo,
la ragazzina deciderà di studiare i rischi connessi
a un territorio sismico per capire come
comportarsi se lo stesso cataclisma dovesse
ripetersi. Nel cast, Luciana Littizzetto.
Twelve-year-old Marta lives in L’Aquila, where
she went by the nickname of «Earthquake» until
a real earthquake leveled the city on 6 April
2009; since then, no one dares call her by that
nickname anymore. One year after the catastrophic
event, not giving in to fatalism, Marta
study seismic risk in order to learn how to behave
should another earthquake occur. With
