creando così un vero e proprio cinepoema<br />
contemporaneo, oltre a genereare una riflessione<br />
sullo sguardo e la percezione nell’epoca<br />
della riproducibilità tecnica.<br />
Footage from promotional, educational, industrial<br />
and amateur films made in the 1950s,<br />
1960s, and 1970s (from the Prelinger Archives,<br />
founded in New York in 1983, which hold over<br />
60,000 in the collection) accompanied by a<br />
text by John Berger (from his essay on art criticism,<br />
Ways of Seeing) create a thought-provoking<br />
film-poem on perception in our era of technical<br />

Torino. Un eccentrico investigatore dall’accento<br />
francese viene incaricato da un’anziana signora<br />
un po’ svampita di mettersi sulle tracce<br />
di Mister Ric, uno scapolo e meticoloso vicino<br />
di casa della donna, molto attento alle buone<br />
pratiche ambientali, misteriosamente scomparso.<br />
Man mano che l’indagine procede, l’uomo<br />
capirà che la soluzione dell’enigma è legata alla<br />
vera e propria seconda vita dei rifiuti, ottenuta<br />
grazie alla raccolta differenziata.<br />
Turin. An eccentric investigator with a French<br />
accent is hired by a somewhat absent-minded<br />
elderly lady to find out about the sudden disappearance<br />
of Mr Ric, her next door neighbor and<br />
bachelor who meticulously follows good green<br />
practices. As the enquiry proceeds, the detective<br />
realizes that the case is tied to recycling<br />
through differentiated garbage collection.<br />
