In Italia ci sono oltre seicento edifici pubblici mai conclusi: stadi<br />
che non hanno mai ospitato partite o spettatori, ospedali in cui<br />
nessun paziente è stato curato o teatri che aspettano da decenni<br />
la serata inaugurale. Segni caratteristici del paesaggio e<br />
di una politica nazionale quasi emblematici di un vero e proprio<br />
stile architettonico della modernità. Benoit Felici ci guida così in<br />
un viaggio alla scoperta di luoghi mai nati, spesso trasformati e<br />
adattati dagli abitanti della zona grazie ai quali trovano nuova<br />
vita. Liberamente ispirato a Rovine e macerie - Il senso del tempo<br />
(2004) di Marc Augé e presentato in numerosi festival come<br />
quello di Clermont-Ferrand o l’IndieLisboa.<br />
In Italy, over 600 public buildings remain completed: stadiums that<br />
have never held games or spectators; hospitals that have never admitted<br />
patients; theaters that have never seen a performance. They<br />
have become landmarks and examples of a national policy promoting<br />
a sort of modern style in public architecture. Benoit Felici<br />
guides us on a tour of building sites which have often been transformed<br />
and put to use by local inhabitants. Freely based on Marc<br />
Augé’s book Le temps en ruine (2003), the film has been shown<br />
at numerous festivals including Clermont-Ferrand and IndieLisboa.<br />
