Vertigine di un incontro<br />
A Surprising Encounter<br />
Alpi del Delfinato, Sudest della Francia. Inseguendo la sua<br />
passione per l’aquila reale, Jean-Michel Bertrand ci guida alla<br />
scoperta degli straordinari paesaggi della valle del Champsaur<br />
e della sua fauna (dal camoscio alla marmotta, dall’ermellino<br />
allo scoiattolo, fino al grifone). Seguiamo così il regista nella<br />
sua quotidianità tra le montagne, in tutti i suoi aspetti, anche i<br />
più duri e faticosi: dalle lunghe camminate con oltre cinquanta<br />
chili di attrezzatura sulle spalle alle gelide notti in tenda, fino<br />
alla solitarie ed estenuanti attese per riprendere gli animali allo<br />
stato libero nel loro habitat naturale, miracolosamente ancora<br />
intatto e non compromesso dalla presenza dell’uomo.<br />
The Delphinate Alps, southeastern France. Following his passion<br />
for the royal eagle, Jean-Michel Bertrand guides us on an<br />
extraordinary journey into the Champsaur valley and the discovery<br />
of its wildlife: chamois, marmot, ermine, squirrel, and<br />
griffon vulture among others. We accompany Bertrand on his<br />
excursions: backpacking 50 kg of equipment by day, bivouacking<br />
in a tent by night, and endless waiting for the right moment<br />
to photograph the animals in their natural habitat which has<br />
miraculously maintained its pristine wonder.<br />
