e lo sviluppo delle Nazioni Unite: un evento senza precedenti<br />
per numero di partecipanti, in termini di impatto mediatico<br />
e per le scelte che ha determinato. Ma anche l’occasione per<br />
una ragazzina di dodici anni, Severn Cullis-Suzuki, di prendere<br />
la parola per chiedere a chi governa il mondo come garantire un<br />
futuro migliore al nostro pianeta da un punto di vista ambientale<br />
e umanitario. A distanza di diciotto anni e in attesa del suo<br />
primo figlio, Severn sente giunto il momento di verificare cosa<br />
sia cambiato e quali politiche siano state effettivamente attuate<br />

An event unprecedented in the number of participants, media<br />
impact, and decisions. But it was also the occasion for then<br />
12-year-old Severn Cullis-Suzuki to ask the world leaders how<br />
they thought they were going to ensure a better future for the<br />
planet and its inhabitants. Some 18 years later, and awaiting her<br />
first child, Cullis-Suzuki felt it was time to find out what has<br />
changed and which policies have been enacted to save the earth.<br />
