on Istanbul Yarn, Fabric and Textile
Accessories Fair, Europe’s largest
textile fair, held for the 5th time this
year. The Minister of Trade, Dr. Ömer
Bolat, Turkish Exporters Assembly
(TİM) President Mustafa Gültepe and
Chairman of the Board of İTHİB Ahmet
Öksüz attended the opening of
the fair, hosted by the Istanbul Textile
and Raw Materials Exporters Association
(İTHİB) and will last until March
8, While the fair held at Istanbul Expo
Center aims to increase the production
capacity and design power
of the Turkish textile sector, the yarn
and denim sections were also included
for the first time this year.
It will increase the perception of
Turkish goods and our brand value
Minister of Commerce Dr. Ömer Bolat,
In his opening speech, said “We allocate
61 percent of our budget to our
exporters” and added “Texhibition Istanbul
Fair will increase the visibility of
our country in the world markets, increase
our brand value by strengthening
the perception of Turkish goods,
and make significant contributions
to our country becoming a center of
design and new generation products.
I believe with all my heart that we
will be one of the three giants of the
world. The textile apparel products
sector, one of the leading sectors

İstanbul Tekstil ve Hammaddeleri İhracatçıları
Birliği (İTHİB) ev sahipliğinde düzenlenen ve 8
Mart’a kadar sürecek fuarın açılışına, Ticaret Bakanı
Dr. Ömer Bolat, Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisi
(TİM) Başkanı Mustafa Gültepe ve İTHİB Yönetim
Kurulu Başkanı Ahmet Öksüz katıldı. İstanbul Fuar
Merkezi’nde düzenlenen fuarla, Türk tekstil sektörünün
üretim kapasitesinin ve tasarım gücünün
artırılması amaçlanırken; bu yıl ilk kez iplik ve
denim bölümlerine de yer verildi.
