ki ̱cooli ̱ Pl: bi ̱cooli. ̱ n. maize; tall food

crop that bears fruit with hair and when

mature grows its grains on a cob.

ki ̱cooli ̱ kya ndere Pl: bi ̱cooli ̱

bya ndere. n. maize plant that

bears more than one maize cob or

that bears its cob faster than the

expected time of maturity.

ki ̱cu̱mbiṟo Var: kiṯi ̱mbiṟo.

Pl: bi ̱cu̱mbiṟo. From: Runyoro. n.

kitchen; room or house in which meals

are cooked or prepared. Syn: jokooni̱.
