If you are a vegetarian or would like to give it a try, Magic
Wave recommends you go to Aromas Café. Located in
Jalan Legian, Kuta it’s perfect for healthy living lovers.
Owner surfing legend Ketut Nugra says that Aromas uses 100%
pure vegetarian ingredients and also uses organic produce.
Aromas has two sections. The front looks like a regular restaurant
and in the back is a large 8 sided gazebo surrounded
by a fish pond and lush gardens. (Actually Magic Wave hung
out in the back section while trying out some of the menu
items)
We tried selections from the surfer recommended menu such as:
Nachos Supreme 9. k, Mexican Bean Tacos 6. k, Tostada 6. k,
Tofu burger 9. k and dessert: Brownies, carrot coconut cake,
lemon cheese cake…
Aromas prioritises the quality of their organic ingredients
and healthy food and the garden setting creates a fresh and
comfortable atmosphere that is unique to Aromas. Free WiFi
is also a good reason to linger at this café which was opened
in 990.
So, if you want to try a yummy and healthy vegetarian menu,
Aromas Café is the place for you. Go vegan..!!!
Here is the brand new India restaurant in Bali
named Indian King Tandoori, started from the
owner until the staffs are new, young and funky.
Even they are young, they have been concerning in
India culinary for many years.
Magic Wave crews were greeted by Wayan Sumardika
as an owner and restaurant manager in this restaurant,
which was launched on August 2008. The drizzled night
that day didn’t affect anything, in fact the consumers
were crowded. In addition, the service was excellent
and fast, the owner himself treated us with marvelous
beverages such as:
Jal jeera (cooling Indian drink with herb) 0k, a great
taste and unique beverage which combine sweet, salty
and sour into one.
Nimbu Pani (fresh lime water with special Indian masala)
0k, similar to Jal Jeera with mint addition.
Rose lassy (rose syrup and milk) 8k, a sweet one
The next repasts are:
An appetizer called vegetable samosa 2k, which is an
extremely crispy.
Then the main courses such as Butter chicken tikka 27k,
Garlic naan 8k, Tandoori chicken 0k, Pulao rice 0k
which are totally yummy..
Indian King Tandoori offers an India ambience, moreover
India video clip from soundtrack India movie is
played on the screen.
This restaurant opens daily at pm – pm is located
at Benesari street no. 40. Hectic traffic? Just call (0361)
9 982 for delivery service (free for Kuta area, and for
another area will be charged 0k)

If you are tired of breathing
the polluted air in Kuta, fed up
with frantic clubs and cafes and
lacking inspiration from the crashing
waves (hahaha….*@#$@^%^$) the
solution is to let the pores of your skin
feel the morning dew and breathe the
fresh air in Ubud.
One fine afternoon, while MW was on
the job in Ubud (???) we accepted the invitation of Bapak Suandana Putra aka Kodrat
to visit his restaurant….as we arrived he said “ the keramat tree creates a romantic at-
mosphere” and the irony wasn’t lost on MW as we dropped in at BUNUTE Restaurant
and Bar, Jl Dewi Sita, Ubud, Bali. With a cosy Balinese garden concept, this restaurant
opened in November 2008 and is set to become a culinary destination in the Ubud
area. The name Bunute comes from the name of a tree located right by the front door
of the restaurant.
We were listening to John Mayer’s song ‘Your Body is Wonderland’ as we surveyed
the Thai Food Festival spread on our table. We had arrived in time for the Thai Food
Festival held on Saturday nights as well as the usual a la carte menu and also a cook-
ing show held on the front terrace, featuring all you can eat from 7pm- pm, with a
different menu daily.
Although the restaurant serves an international menu it also provides free WiFi
for guests who choose the ‘Nasi Panggang’ ( a combination of white rice mixed with
vegetables, meat, prawns and seasoning
wrapped in a banana leaf and grilled) as
the chef’s recommendation ….ehmz…..

The restaurant also has a beautiful
back garden which provides extra pri-
vacy for business meetings and dinners
for two!!! well…. Just come n enjoy the
romantic atmosphere, it’s delightfully
yours…

Street, Double Six no.2 H, Legian-Kuta,
dare to give special price on its menus.
