Untuk maklumat lanjut berkaitan<strong>kriteria</strong> dan <strong>standard</strong>, sila rujuk kepadadokumen yang bertajuk “Garis PanduanKriteria dan Standard Kursus PengajianIPTS” yang disediakan oleh LembagaAkreditasi Negara, edisi Jun 2002 danjuga “Kod Amalan Jaminan Kualiti IPTA”oleh Bahagian Jaminan Kualiti, <strong>Jabatan</strong>Pendidikan Tinggi, edisi Mei 2002.Keperluan khusus <strong>kursus</strong> <strong>pengajian</strong> dalamdokumen ini telah dibina oleh satu panelyang mewakili ahli akademik dan industri.Senarai ahli panel adalah seperti yangterdapat dalam Lampiran A.Kriteria spesifik ini boleh diguna pakaisebagai <strong>panduan</strong> apabila menggubalkurikulum <strong>kursus</strong> <strong>pengajian</strong> hospitaliti,pelancongan dan seni kulinari.PREAMBLEThe criteria and <strong>standard</strong>s described inthis document refer only to the specificrequirements for courses of study in thefield of hospitality, tourism and culinaryarts. For further information on criteriaand <strong>standard</strong>s, please refer to thedocument entitled “Guidelines forCriteria and Standard of Courses ofStudy offered by PHEIs” prepared bythe National Accreditation Board, June2002 and also “Quality Assurance ofPublic Universities in Malaysia: Code ofPractice” prepared by the Division ofQuality Assurance, Department ofHigher Education May 2002 edition. Thespecific requirements have beendeveloped by a panel representingacademia and industry. The membersof the panel are as in Appendix A.This specific criteria may serve asguideline when formulating curriculumof hospitality, tourism and culinary artscourses of study.PELUANG DAN CABARANPeluang1.
