With black ink instead of greywashes, his realism tattoo works don’t fadea lot in few years; and this is what people search for from David if he’s working on hisstudio, La Familia Tattoo, located in Amsterdam’s red light district.Before starting his tattoo career, David is already an artist himself in Madrid, Spain;doing a lot of artworks in various mediums, from wall to canvas, he is a curious personand always wants to learn something new. Then when it comes to the skin media, hestarted his apprenticeship that lasts for 6 months, until he able to tattoo on real skins.In his opinion, being a tattooist is far different from being an artist; being have to dealwith clients and thus it is a work to do. So when he’s off working, he might be travellingoverseas for some artist residency, or painting!Yohan’s first encounter to tattoo was when he was in his college year in Bali. Hechose to work as a tattooist because tattooing has made him an independent person,until he decided to be a professional by learning everything about tattoo fromvarious references he can get. He usually spend his time for painting, airbrush, music,and a little bit of BMX riding. Yohan actually likes piercing more than tattoos, but intattooing, Yohan likes mechanical and futuristic form.
