Graduated from the faculty of art artism Tbilisi art academy.
She did probation at the University of film history and scientific
research institute of Moscow under the management of Irina
Shilova. Since 1982 she has been working at the University
of Drama and Theatre in the sector of Scientific-research of
film. (until it has been abolished) Similteniously she has been
giving lectures in the theory film and critics, film history and
journalism.
She used to be an author of ”tele-cine-video” and then became
the host and consultant from 1990 including 2003. Since
1999 till today she has been the invited lecturer of Batumi
university. Since 1996 she has been the editor of the newspaper
“Rezonance” culture and is a reviewer. Besides she has worked
with journals such as “ critics”, our writing, “names” “Amarta”
“focus” “Line”.
In 2005 she maintained a thesis with the article- 60-70yrs Poetic
tendencies in Georgian film.
Main issues of scientific research are: Georgian and European
film’s of 60-80yrs, the latest film process, mythological aspects
and the national conception in culture and oters.
