Penerbitan Perangkaan <strong>Pengajian</strong> <strong>Tinggi</strong> Malaysia 2010 merupakan<br />

The Statistics of Higher Education of Malaysia 2010 covers all the data concerning the higher education institutions under<br />

Perangkaan <strong>Pengajian</strong> <strong>Tinggi</strong> Malaysia 2010 adalah meliputi data bagi<br />

the purview of MoHE. It serves as the source of information that is priceless for the government, researchers, students and other<br />

semua institusi pengajian tinggi di bawah KPT sebagai sumber maklumat<br />

parties concerned. The statistical data is also used as an indicator of the achievement of an initiative, especially in ensuring the<br />

dipersembahkan merangkumi maklumat pelajar <strong>dan</strong> staf akademik di Institusi <strong>Pengajian</strong> <strong>Tinggi</strong><br />

Awam (IPTA), Insititusi <strong>Pengajian</strong> <strong>Tinggi</strong> Swasta (IPTS), Politeknik, Kolej Komuniti, pelajar<br />

Malaysia yang berada di luar negara serta maklumat berkaitan kebolehpasaran <strong>dan</strong> kebolehdapatan<br />

agensi-agensi pusat seperti Unit Perancang Ekonomi (EPU), Unit Penyelarasan Perlaksanaan<br />

The Statistics of Higher Education of Malaysia, 2010 is an annual publication which aims to provide and<br />

disseminate data and information relating to the area of higher education in Malaysia.<br />

This book is the sixth edition of a series of statistical publications published by the Ministry of Higher Education.<br />

The statistics presented include information on students and academicians in the Public Higher Education<br />

Institutions (Public HEI), Private Higher Education Institutions (Private HEI), Polytechnics, Community<br />

Colleges and also Malaysian students studying abroad as well as the information related to the marketability<br />

and employability of graduates.<br />

The information in this book are valid and beneficial to all parties, especially the central agencies like the<br />

Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Implementation and Coordination Unit (ICU), other ministries, private<br />

sectors, researchers and the public for obtaining accurate and relevant information regarding higher education<br />

in Malaysia. It is hoped that the publication of these statistics can be used as the primary source of information<br />

relating to higher education in Malaysia and specifically in planning policies for the development of highly<br />

skilled human capital.<br />

Congratulations for those involved in making the issuance of the Statistics of Higher Education of Malaysia,<br />
