analysed: the narrative autonomy or the ability to take charge from beginning to end of
the story-telling activity, the organisation of the thematic context of the story, the verbal
cohesion and mechanisms of assumption of enunciative responsibility. the results demonstrate
similar skills in both groups. the differences found were not always favourable to
the l1 group. In general, the l2 group students tended to reproduce the adult model
more accurately, whilst the l1 group students seemed to have taken greater liberty with
respect to the model. As an overall conclusion of this work, the relevance of analysing
child language from a textual-discursive point of view should be mentioned
