leadership member exchange (Basu, 1991; Scott & Bruce, 1994), kepemimpinan partisipatif (Axtell, dkk., 2000; Parker, dkk., 2006 dalam De Jong, 2007), dukungan untuk berinovasi (Scott & Bruce, 1994) Kecilnya pengaruh persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap perilaku inovatif ini kemungkinan juga disebabkan oleh karakteristik subjek. Yang pertama adalah karakteristik penyiar radio yang sebagian besar bekerja part-time. Hal ini menyebabkan minimnya interaksi antara p e n y i a r d e n g a n a t a s a n n y a s e h i n g g a memungkinkan kepemimpinan transformasional yang dimiliki oleh atasan tidak dapat dirasakan dengan baik oleh penyiar. Yang kedua adalah karena sebagian besar sampel dalam penelitian ini lama kerjanya kurang dari satu tahun (sebanyak 55,8%). Hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya waktu bagi penyiar untuk benar-benar mengenal atasannya sehingga belum benar-benar dapat m e m p e r s e p s i k a n k e p e m i m p i n a n transformasional atasannya dengan baik. Lalu faktor yang ketiga adalah latar belakang pendidikan sampel sebagian besar adalah SMA (sebanyak 48,1%). Hal ini memungkinkan mempengaruhi perilaku inovatif subjek karena kemungkinan subjek yang berlatar belakang pendidikan SMA wawasannya tidak seluas dengan yang berlatar belakang pendidikan di atas SMA. SIMPULAN Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap perilaku inovatif penyiar radio. Variabel perspesi kepemimpinan transformasional dapat memprediksikan perilaku inovatif penyiar radio sebesar 17,9% dalam penelitian ini, artinya 82,1% sisanya adalah faktor lain yang mempengaruhi perilaku inovatif penyiar radio. Penelitian ini terbatas hanya dilakukan terhadap penyiar radio di delapan stasiun radio PRSSNI Jawa Timur di Surabaya sehingga hasil penelitian ini hanya dapat digeneralisasikan pada lingkup penelitian ini saja.
