DIRECTORS' REPORT
The Directors are pleased to submit their annual report to the members together with the audited
financial statements of the Group and of the Company for the financial year ended 31 August
2002.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
The Company is principally an investment holding company. The Company also engages in
construction related activities and provision of management services to its subsidiaries.
The Group is principally engaged in engineering and construction services, property development,
multimedia and information technology services, publishing, broadcasting and financial services.
There have been no significant changes in the nature of the activities of the Group and of the
Company during the financial year.
