DATO’ AHMAD IBNIHAJAR Dato’ Ahmad Ibnihajar, aged 53, a Malaysian, is an Independent Non-Executive Director of MRCB. He was appointed to the Board of MRCB on 27 September 2000. Dato’ Ahmad is currently the Managing Director of Penang Port Sdn Bhd, Chairman of D’nounce Berhad and AMI Insurans Berhad and a Board Member of Pin Wee Group Berhad. As an Independent Non-Executive Director, Dato’ Ahmad is also the Chairman of Remuneration Committee, a member of Audit Committee and Nomination Committee of MRCB. Bhd. mulai 1984 hingga 1991 dan sebagai Pengarah Eksekutif WM Svene-Nor JV Sdn Bhd dari 1991 hingga 1993. Dato’ Ahmad adalah Ketua Umno Bahagian Tanjung. Kini, Dato’ Ahmad merupakan Pengarah Urusan Penang Port Sdn Bhd, Pengerusi D’nounce Berhad dan AMI Insurans Berhad dan Pengarah Pin Wee Group Berhad. Sebagai Pengarah Bebas Bukan Eksekutif, Dato’ Ahmad juga telah dilantik sebagai Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Ganjaran dan ahli Jawatankuasa Audit dan Jawatankuasa Pencalonan MRCB. DIRECTORS’ PROFILE | PROFIL PENGARAH 18 DATO’ ZAINOL ABIDIN DATO’ SALLEH Dato’ Zainol Abidin Dato’ Salleh, aged 70, a Malaysian, is an Independent Non-executive Director of MRCB. He was appointed to the Board of MRCB on 27 September 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Malay Studies from University Malaya, Certificate in Advance Management Programme from University of Hawaii and Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from University of Manchester, England. Dato’ Zainol was a Director of Malaysian Student Department from 1972 to 1975. From 1977 to 1979, he was the Deputy Director Administration of General Hospital, Kuala Lumpur and was the Deputy Director Establishment of Public Service Department from 1979 to 1980. From 1980 to 1983, he was the Secretary of Cabinet Division to the Prime Minister’s Department, Kuala Lumpur. He was appointed as Director of Public Service Department from 1985 to 1986 and from 1986 to 1988 he was appointed as the State Secretary of Penang Government and was the President of Municipal Council, Penang from 1988 to 1990. He was appointed as the Chairman of Penang Port Commission from 1994 to 1995. He also sits on the Boards of Farlim Group (Malaysia) Berhad and Sungai Ara Estates Berhad. Dato’ Zainol is the Chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee of MRCB. Dari 1980 hingga 1983, beliau berkhidmat sebagai Setiausaha Bahagian Kabinet di Jabatan Perdana Menteri. Beliau telah dilantik sebagai Pengarah Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam dari 1985 hingga 1986 dan dari 1986 hingga 1988, beliau dilantik sebagai Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang dan menjadi Presiden Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang dari 1988 hingga 1990. Selepas itu, beliau telah dilantik sebagai Pengerusi Suruhanjaya Pelabuhan Pulau Pinang dari 1994 hingga 1995. Beliau juga menganggotai Lembaga Pengarah Farlim Group (Malaysia) Berhad dan Sungai Ara Estates Berhad. Sebagai Pengarah Bebas Bukan Eksekutif, Dato’ Zainol juga merupakan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pencalonan dan ahli Jawatankuasa Audit dan Jawatankuasa Ganjaran MRCB.
