supremacy of the product or is fanciful or that is not relevant to the<br />
physical characteristics of the tobacco product or any other words<br />
that is meant for the purpose of promoting directly or indirectly<br />
the sale or disposal of the tobacco product.”.<br />
13. Regulation 21A of the principal Regulations are amended—<br />
(a) in subregulation (1), by inserting after the word “tar” the words “or<br />
carbon monoxide”; and<br />
(b) by substituting for subregulation (2) the following subregulation:<br />
“(2) For the purpose of subregulation (1)—<br />

(a) the maximum allowable level for nicotine shall be 1.3 mg<br />
per cigarette, the maximum allowable level for tar shall<br />
be 15 mg per cigarette and the maximum allowable level<br />
for carbon monoxide shall be 15 mg per cigarette; and<br />
(b) beginning 1 June 2015, the maximum allowable level for<br />
nicotine shall be 1.0 mg per cigarette, the maximum<br />
allowable level for tar shall be 10 mg per cigarette and<br />
the maximum allowable level for carbon monoxide shall be<br />
10 mg per cigarette. ”.<br />
14. Subregulation 23(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting after<br />
the words “14(1)” the words “15(4A)”, and after the words “21(2),” the words “22(2)”.<br />

15. The principal Regulations are amended in the Fifth Schedule by inserting after<br />
health warning 6 the following health warnings:
