Berdasarkan kepadatan
penduduk pada tingkat kecamatan dapat
dilihat sebagian besar penduduk terpusat di
ibukota kabupaten yaitu sebesar 9,68
persen dengan 20.632 jiwa, diikuti
Kecamatan Poso Pesisir sebesar 9,61
persen dengan jumlah penduduk 20.470
jiwa dan Kecamatan Pamona Selatan
sebesar 8,78 persen dengan jumlah
penduduk 18.712 jiwa.
Rasio jenis kelamin di Kabupaten
Poso tahun 2011 adalah sebesar 108, yang
berarti setiap 100 penduduk perempuan
terdapat 108 penduduk laki-laki atau jumlah
penduduk laki-laki masih lebih dominan dari
penduduk perempuan. Demikian juga terjadi
pada tingkat kecamatan, terkecuali
kecamatan Poso Kota Selatan, jumlah laki-
laki lebih banyak daripada penduduk
perempuan. Sex ratio terbesar terdapat di di
Kecamatan Lore Timur yaitu sebesar 121.
Sementara jumlah rumah tangga
di Kabupaten Poso sekitar 51.863 rumah
tangga, dengan rata-rata jumlah penduduk
tiap rumah tangga sebanyak 4 jiwa. Jumlah
rumah tangga terbanyak terdapat di
Kecamatan Poso Kota, sekitar 4.742 rumah
tangga. Untuk mengetahui banyaknya
jumlah penduduk, jumlah rumahtangga dan
rata-rata penduduk per rumahtangga, dan
juga jumlah penduduk menurut kecamatan
dan jenis kelamin dapat dilihat pada Tabel
4.1.3. dan Tabel 4.1.4.

residents is more than the female residents.
The largest sex ratio is also found in East
Lore District as many as 121.
While the number of households
in Poso Regency is approximately 51.863
households, with the average population
from each household is 4 people. The
largest number of households is found in
Poso Kota District, approximately 4.742
