4.1 Persebaran dan Kepadatan

Jumlah penduduk kabupaten
Poso pada tahun 2011 mencapai 213.096
jiwa. Jumlah ini merupakan hasil proyeksi
penduduk berdasarkan hasil Sensus
Penduduk(SP) tahun 2010. Jumlah
penduduk laki-laki mencapai 110.757 jiwa,
sementara jumlah penduduk perempuan
102.339 jiwa. Jika di bandingkan tahun
2010 jumlah penduduk kabupaten Poso
bertambah bertambah 1,85 persen atau
sebanyak 3.868 jiwa. Pesatnya
pertambahan penduduk menunjukan
meningkatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi
wilayah kabupaten Poso.
Seiring dengan meningkatnya
jumlah penduduk, maka tingkat kepadatan
penduduk juga mengalami peningkatan.
Kepadatan penduduk tercatat 24 jiwa/km²,
dengan luas wilayah Kabupaten Poso
8.712,25 km². Kecamatan Poso Kota
merupakan daerah yang memiliki penduduk
terpadat yaitu 1.611 jiwa/Km 2 dengan luas
area 12,8 Km 2 , sementara Kecamatan Lore
Tengah memilki penduduk terjarang sekitar
4 jiwa/Km 2 dengan luas area 976,37 Km 2 .

4.1 Distribution and Density of
Population
The number of Poso Regency’s
Popolation is 213.096 people in 2011. This
is Based on Population projection which
used the results of Census of Population
(CP) in 2010. The number of of men as
many as 110.757 people and the number of
women is 102.339 people. This number is
increased about 1,85 percent or as many as
3.868 people compared to the year 2010.
The rapidly increasing of Population shall
mean that the economic is going growth in
Poso Regency region.
Along with the increasing
population, then the population density level
is also increased. The population density is
24 people/km 2 and the total Poso Regency
area is 8.712,25 km². Poso City District is a
region that has the densest population
which is 1.611 people/ Km 2 with the total
area of 12,8 Km 2 , while Central Lore District
has the least population for about 4
peopole/ Km 2 with the total area of 976,37
Km 2 .
