Sebelas orang harus berbagi ruang sempit dalam perjalanan mereka ke tempat antah berantah.
Dalam keadaan yang serba tak pasti, mereka harus menghadapi rasa takut dan prasangka
mereka sendiri, sembari bergantung pada orang lain hanya untuk bertahan hidup. Selama di
sini, pergerakan hidup mereka mereeksikan apa yang terjadi di dunia luar.
Eleven strangers are forced to share a conned space on a journey into the unknown. Under severe
and uncertain circumstances they face their own prejudice and fears while, having to depend on
each other in order to survive. During an undened period of time the dynamics of the group creates
a reection of the world outside.

Saat memimpin 40 anak-anak melewati enam blok di New York City, seorang pria yang terlihat
stress tanpa sengaja melepaskan ratusan balon udara yang sedang digenggamnya. Sebuah
balon hitam terbang sendirian melewati gedung-gedung dan menghampiri orang-orang dengan
karakter yang beraneka ragam.
While moving 40 kids, all by himself, across six New York City blocks, a stressed man accidentally
loses a bouquet of a hundred balloons. A lone black balloon in the bunch learns that humans are
complicated creatures with extreme highs and lows, but full of life nonetheless. The Black Balloon
is in one part a children's lm and the other a Sci-Fi.
