m<strong>in</strong>ister Sovappa (who had charge of) <strong>the</strong> S<strong>in</strong>gapatna Changa-nad, and<br />

Sovappa gave to Mahadevarasa a patra-sasana as follows —<br />

than that some one fought and died.) Usual f<strong>in</strong>al verses.<br />

march<strong>in</strong>g upon <strong>the</strong> base Poysala, was victorious <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> battle of Manni, when<br />

try<strong>in</strong>g to capture Irggadala Kameya, — Pennalur Kongalachariya's son Jakava<br />

died. His mo<strong>the</strong>r Vendakabhe set up this stone.<br />
