specified), made a grant <strong>in</strong> Aneganakeie, o<strong>the</strong>rwise called <strong>the</strong> Kesavapura<br />

agrahftra, <strong>in</strong> Kabhuhu-nad, of 2 hana per 100 gadyana of <strong>the</strong> 350 <strong>the</strong> fixed<br />

first rent, as a sese-manya and ovata-kdrunya, to cont<strong>in</strong>ue for ever, and made<br />

it over to <strong>the</strong> Brahmans (possessed of all <strong>the</strong> usual ascetic virtues), <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

presence of <strong>the</strong> god Vajiesvara, do<strong>in</strong>g worship to <strong>the</strong>ir feet, and with pour<strong>in</strong>g<br />

of water from <strong>the</strong> hand of vira-Ballala-Deva. (Hero follow details of <strong>the</strong> boundaries etc. of <strong>the</strong> villag<br />

6m. Obeisance to Siva. There was <strong>the</strong> Hoysala k<strong>in</strong>g, <strong>the</strong> ornamont of<br />

heroes, <strong>the</strong> k<strong>in</strong>g Narasimha, son of k<strong>in</strong>g Ballala, (his praise) His son was<br />

Soyi-Deva; (his praise). A dist<strong>in</strong>guished Bharadvaja was Mallanna, who had<br />

two sons, Appanna and Tikanna, through <strong>the</strong> favour of Somesa. The far<strong>the</strong>r<br />

particulars are written <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Karnnata language.<br />
