Praise of Sambhu. The fame of Viuayaditya.<br />

Be it well. When, (with usual titles), Tribhuvanamalla V<strong>in</strong>ayaditya-Poysala-<br />

Deva was-rul<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> Gaiigavadi N<strong>in</strong>ety-six Thousand <strong>in</strong> peace and wisdom: —<br />

And, a dweller at his lotus feet, <strong>the</strong> perggade Chavunda-Raya was rul<strong>in</strong>g<br />

Desavani <strong>in</strong> Asandi-nad; —<br />

The Desa-mamkya, whose fame was spread over <strong>the</strong> world, when <strong>the</strong><br />

Paramatma Lmga of this town was shaken down, had it aga<strong>in</strong> speedily<br />

restored; and he and <strong>the</strong> guru <strong>in</strong>duced <strong>the</strong> two gaundas of this town to<br />

? rebuild <strong>the</strong> temple for Dharramarasi-bratfSa. His praise, sayiog he had constructed<br />

a tank and built a temple. In his l<strong>in</strong>e was Vimalasakti-brati, whose<br />

son was Rudra-8akti. Praise of <strong>the</strong> Magare-uad nal-gonda Barmmiga and his<br />

family. They made a grant of land (specified) for <strong>the</strong> temple. Usual f<strong>in</strong>al verses.<br />

Be it well. The maha-mandalesvara Poysala's great m<strong>in</strong>ister, <strong>the</strong> m<strong>in</strong>ister<br />

for peace and war, Chavunda-Raja's sons Madi-Raja, J<strong>in</strong>a-deva and dandanayaka<br />

Ellapayya, <strong>the</strong>se three, made a tank and a temple <strong>in</strong> Rayagatta attached to<br />

Desavani.<br />

Bomma-deva-heggado of Desavani, — Madiga, son of Mai a, son of Kafca-bova,<br />

hav<strong>in</strong>g worked as a servant, ga<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>the</strong> world of gods.<br />
