When, with all titles, <strong>the</strong> maha-manclalesvara Tribhuvanamalla, <strong>the</strong><br />

capturer of Talakadu, Vtra-Ganga 11oysala-Deva's victorious k<strong>in</strong>gdom was<br />

extend<strong>in</strong>g on all sides, to cont<strong>in</strong>ue as long as sun, moon and stars — (on <strong>the</strong><br />

date specified), Chikka-Machanna of Balliyur .. . .hav<strong>in</strong>g laid siege to Sige, <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> battle Jaya. .slew . . and atta<strong>in</strong>ed to <strong>the</strong> world of gods.<br />

lord Narayana-Dasa and Nanu-Bayi; Madyandma reciter; versed <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Apastamba-sutra;<br />

able <strong>in</strong> bear<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> burden of <strong>the</strong> world, — Chandulal-prabhu<br />

(on <strong>the</strong> date specified), for <strong>the</strong> decorations, illum<strong>in</strong>ations and offer<strong>in</strong>gs of <strong>the</strong><br />

god Mallikarjuna, <strong>the</strong> lord of Bhramarambika, made a grant of <strong>the</strong> village of<br />

N<strong>in</strong>gala, <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> khasaba taluq,—freed from sdyar, excise, mohatarpha, garden<br />

tax, trade tolls on imports and exports <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> four directions, desamukhi, and<br />
