Era-Timmaya made over to <strong>the</strong> god Janardana certa<strong>in</strong> land to <strong>the</strong> south of<br />

Palya, which Krishnama-Nayaka had given to him for 40 varaha,<br />

The maha-mandaleivara Tirumala-Raja-maha-arasu's bro<strong>the</strong>r-<strong>in</strong>-law, Hasata-raja-maha-arasu,<br />

made a grant of land (specified) to <strong>the</strong> applicants from<br />

<strong>the</strong> matha of Pradyumna-Vodeyar, for <strong>the</strong> god Janardana of Palya.<br />

(On <strong>the</strong> date specified), at <strong>the</strong> time of <strong>the</strong> moon's eclipse, Bukkappa-Nsyaka,<br />

<strong>in</strong> order that merit might accrue to Krishnappa-Nayaka, released <strong>the</strong> 18 agraharas<br />

and o<strong>the</strong>r sarvamanya villages of <strong>the</strong> Gonibld country, from <strong>the</strong> payment<br />

of watchmen's dues, alms, shares, solage and forced labour,—giv<strong>in</strong>g a decree<br />

on stone to that effect as an offer<strong>in</strong>g to Isvara.<br />

destruction of Nallur <strong>in</strong> Blravamma's (or, <strong>the</strong> Bedar Blramma's) raid, Dore-<br />

Gavunda charged <strong>in</strong>to <strong>the</strong> horse, and slay<strong>in</strong>g, went to svarga. His son<br />

Ereyanga set up this stone out of respect for him.<br />
