Development of cultivation technology and utilization of
mini rotation woody crops for energy purpose
On the basis of the affects of developments of energy sector, the natural forests cannot
satisfy the increasing basic wood material, that’s why the production of short rotation crops
almost the single solution for the discharge of the natural forests.
New scientific results were stated in present dissertation, in the theme of cultivation
technology and utilization of the mini rotation woody crops for energy purposes.
Estimation method, for determination of woodmass and woodyield of mini rotation woody
crops, were researched, which provide aduquate correlation coefficiens for practise.
The mechanization of harvesting of short rotation woody crops was also researched and
developed by the results of this dissertation.
FuelBiomass Value Index (FBVI) was developed for the validation of different type of
hungarian solid biofuels, which can be also provided for the characterization of mini
rotation dendromass.
