The training and thefunctioning of the psychologist members of the Crisis Interventional Team which is run by the directorateof the National Emergency Management of the Ministry of Home Affairs is exquisitely organised.Nevertheless, the work of the team is confined only to the acute phase of the catastrophe. Theonly area where the work is organized for long term is the trauma-elaboration of professional helpers/interferers(e.g.: fire- and policemen). The international literature and Hungarian experiences(gained during disasters affecting a lot of people) shows that it is worth working out a complex systemfor long-term psychological help to civil victims, too. Our study delineates a plan for this kind ofhelping net based on the experiences of the flood in 2010 in Felsőzsolca.
