Thank you for purchasing the Lite Sprites Windmill playset from <strong>WowWee</strong>. Read this quick start guide to<br />

learn how to make the Windmill part of the magical world of Lite-Topia.<br />

Installing or changing batteries in the<br />

Windmill playset<br />

The Windmill playset requires 3 x “AAA” batteries (not included). If the<br />

colors start to appear dim, the batteries might need to be replaced.<br />

Insert or replace the batteries according to the diagram to the right.<br />

1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the playset<br />

using a Phillips screwdriver (not included).<br />

2. Insert the batteries. Ensure that the positive and negative<br />

polarities match the illustrations inside the battery compartment.<br />

3. Replace the battery compartment cover and replace the screws<br />

using the screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.<br />

Important battery information<br />

• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.<br />

• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries [standard (Carbon- zinc), Alkaline or rechargeable] or<br />

rechargeable batteries of different capacities.<br />

• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before recharging them.<br />

• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.<br />

• Respect the correct polarity, (+) and (-).<br />

• Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.<br />

• Do not dispose batteries in a fire.<br />

• Replace all batteries of the same type/brand at the same time.<br />

• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.<br />

• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.<br />

• Batteries should be replaced by adults.<br />

• Remove batteries if the toy is not going to be played with for some time.<br />

Powering up<br />

To start playing with the Windmill, move its power switch to the ON<br />

position (see illustration).<br />

Sleep mode<br />

If you do not play with the Windmill for about 3 minutes, it will go<br />

into Sleep mode. It can receive color during this time. After about 12<br />

minutes without activity, it will further power down and will not be able<br />

to receive color. To wake it up, spin its blades.<br />

To conserve batteries, turn off the Windmill when not in use.
