Historie
Die UNLAND GmbH wurde 1957 durch Gerhard Unland gegründet.
Heute zählt die Unland-Gruppe mit über 300 Mitarbeitern zu
den führenden Hersteller von Gardinen- und Dekostoffen in Europa.
Made in Germany wird bei UNLAND großgeschrieben.
Meilensteine
1957 Gerhard Unland, erfolgreicher Textilmaschinenbauer und Mitinhaber der
Textilmaschinenfabrik Hagemann & Co in Steinfurt eröffnet eine Gardinenfabrikation.
1963 Verlegung und Neubau des Unternehmens in das oldenburgische Saterland.
Unter Führung von Gerhard Unland und seinem Sohn Heinz wurde
eine der bedeuternsten Gardinen- und Dekostoff-Produktionen in Europa
aufgebaut.
1973 Fertigstellung und Bezug des neuen Verwaltungsgebäudes.
1979 Bau des Dekowerks in Saterland mit Einrichtung einer modernen Weberei
mit 35 Webmaschinen die bis heute kontinuierlich auf derzeit 75
Webmaschinen ausgebaut wurde.
1982 25-jähriges Firmenjubiläum der UNLAND GmbH und 70. Geburtstag des
Firmengründers Gerhard Unland.
1986 Empfang des 1000. UNLAND-Seminarteilnehmers
1987 Einführung der Marke PIERRE CARDIN – Paris, die Exklusiv-Kollektion
aus dem Hause UNLAND.
1989 Eintritt des Enkels Hendrik Unland in die Geschäftsführung.
1996 Beteiligung durch die Daun & Cie AG, heute Europas größter Textilkonzern,
an der UNLAND GmbH.
2003 Übernahme der Marken ELVO – CORDIMA – INTERIEUR.
2007 50-jähriges Firmenjubiläum der UNLAND GmbH und 20-jährige Lizenz
der Marke PIERRE CARDIN, sowie 50-jähriges Jubiläum der Marke ELVO

Order of events:
1957 Gerhard Unland, successful textile-engine
producer and co-partner
of Textilmaschinenfabrik Hagemann
& Co. located in Steinfurt
founded a curtain-production.
1963 Relocating and new building of the
company in Saterland (area of Oldenburg-Germany).
Under the leadership
of Gerhard Unland and his
son Heinz, they build up one of the
distinguished curtain – and decoration
fabric production in Europe.
1973 Finish and move into the new
administration building.
1979 Construction of decoration factory
in Saterland with a modern weaving
factory incl. 35 looms which
increased until today to 75.
1982 celebration of 25 years UN-
LAND GmbH and 70 years of the
founder Gerhard Unland.
1986 Welcome of the 1000th participant
of the UNLAND-Seminars
1987 Implementation of the brand PI-
ERRE CARDIN – Paris, the exclusive
range of UNLAND GmbH
1989 Entrance of Hendrik Unland, grandson
of Gerhard Unland into the business

La société UNLAND GmbH a été fondée
en 1957 par Gerhard Unland. Aujourd‘hui,
le groupe UNLAND compte plus de trois
cents collaborateurs parmi les plus grands
fabricants de voilages et tissus d‘ameublement
en Europe. Made in Germany est et
sera toujours mis en avant par UNLAND.
Grandes étapes:
1957 Fondation de la société par Monsieur
Gerhard Unland, constructeur de talent
de machines textiles et co-propriétaire de
las société Hagemann & Co à Steinfurt.
1963 Transfert et reconstruction de l‘entreprise
dans la région de Oldenburg
Saterland. Sous la régie de Gerhard
Unland et de son fi ls Heinz, il a été
contruit une des plus importantes
structure de production de voilages
et tissus d‘ameublement en Europe.
1973 Achèvement et déménagement des
nouveaux bâtiments administratifs.
1979 Construction d‘une unité de production
à Saterland, avec la mise en
place d‘un tissage moderne, avec, au
départ, trente cinq métiers, et qui en
compte maintenant soixante-quinze.
1982 Vingt cinquième anniversaire de la
société UNLAND GmbH et soixante
disième anniversaire du fondateur
de la société Gerhard Unland.
1986 Accueil du millième participant
d‘un séminaire UNLAND.
1987 Introduction de la marque PIERRE
CARDIN – Paris, collection exclusive
de la maison UNLAND.
1989 Entrée dans la direction de l‘entreprise
du petit fi ls Hendrik Unland.
1996 Participation de la sociéte Daun
& Cie AG, aujourd‘hui le plus
grand entrepreneur textile européen
dans la société UNLAND.
2003 Reprise des marques ELVO
– CORDIMA – INTÉRIEUR.
2007 Cinquantième anniversaire de la société
UNLAND GmbH et vingtième
anniversaire de la marque PIERRE
CARDIN ainsi que le cinquantième
anniversaire de la marque ELVO.
