to which I shall add my prayers that God may continue to you a long and healthfull life
for ages to come, and not deprive the world (expecially your admirers, of which number I
am the most humblest) of soe wise and prudent a man as your Excellency is, and future
ages must learn vertue from you, and parents tell their children of your wisdom.
It is to be admired that soe many great persons followed one another soe soon, as 5
the Queen of Great Britain to dye so suddenly after her Highness the Ellectoress it is a
pitty she did not live one year longer to wear the Royal Diadam, and be crowned Queen
I hope the Death of the Queen will contribute much to settle Europe in tranquillity so
as our Religion may florish is the English Crown be for ever established on the House of
Hannover in all peace and sprosperity, and particularly, that I may live to see my Royal 10
Princess florish upon the throne, and then I hope she will take some small notice of me
or mine again, as she was pleased to promise me by the Countess of Buckenbourg three
times, and through Sg. Pitola twice, and again att the Hague by his Excelleny Mon s de
Bothmar that when ever she came to the Throne notice should be taken of me again,
and that my enemies would be left behind I know your Excellency can do all with her 15
Highness and therefore if you will vouchsafe to be my friend once as to putt the Ellectoral
Princess in mind of me I am sure, I or my husband whom I would humble recommend
to your Lordship would be taken in her service, then for all I have a good Husband get
my Heart yerns to be with my Princess, for my Love is exceeding great to her, and is
a pitty that my fidillity should be buried in oblivion for I am save she is perswaded, of 20
the wrong which I have suffered, and a place in the jewel office to which strangers can
be admitted would be of great service to my espouse,
As your Lordship passes through Auspurg att your return to Hannover I hope to
enjoy the honnour of kissing your hand, and with that some business would bring you to
England, and stay there for ever. 25
My journey to Hannover will be stopped unless it be that I am sure of finding your
Excellency their by her Highness the Electoral Princess going over to England, and if
your lordship would give me a little letter to introduce me to her Highness I hope I should
not fail of being happy, and I shall never be unhappy whilst I can be permitted of calling
my self and husband 30
My Lord your Excellencys Most humble most obidient and dutifull servants M [C]
