Riflescopes <strong>Victory</strong> Diarange T*<br />

Caution<br />

Never look through the riflescope directly at the sun or a laser light<br />

source!<br />

Before using, please ensure that your riflescope is in proper working<br />

condition.<br />

Look through your riflescope to test if the optics provide a clear,<br />

undisturbed image.<br />

Test the correct setting on the reticle with controlled shots.<br />

Inserting and replacing the battery<br />

The <strong>Victory</strong> Diarange M 2.5 –10x50 T*/M 3 –12 x 56 T* riflescope is powered<br />

by a Type CR 123A lithium battery.<br />

To insert or replace the battery (Type CR 123A), unscrew the cover (4) by<br />

turning it to the left (counterclockwise). The battery (9) is inserted with the<br />

positive end forward (Fig. 3). After inserting the battery, replace the cap (4).<br />

Ensure that the sealing ring (10) is properly seated and in good condition.<br />

Damage sealing rings must be replaced.<br />

A low battery is indicated by a flashing reticle or display.<br />

If the riflescope will not be used for a longer period of time, the battery<br />

should be removed to prevent damage caused by a leaking battery.<br />

Focusing the reticle<br />

Turn the eyepiece (3) to focus the reticle. The reticle then remains sharply<br />

defined throughout the entire range.<br />

Please note that simultaneous focusing of the reticle and the image at high<br />

magnifications and distances less than 100 m is not possible with the<br />

Diarange M 2.5 –10x50 T*/M 3 –12 x 56 T* riflescope from the <strong>Victory</strong> line as<br />

this riflescope is adjusted to be parallax free at 100 m.<br />

We recommend using smaller magnification settings for distances significantly<br />

less than 100 m. The reticle and image are once again sharply focused as a<br />

result of the larger depth of field when using smaller magnifications. Deviations<br />

in the impact point caused by parallax errors do not occur if you fix your<br />

target directly in the center of the scope, even with longer or shorter ranges. A<br />

rubber ring (7) has been attached to the eyepiece to avoid injury (e. g. recoil).<br />

Magnification change<br />

All magnification levels can be smoothly adjusted between the lowest and<br />

highest level. Change the magnification by turning the changer (2) on the<br />

eyepiece tubes. All magnification levels are identified by numbers on the magnification<br />

changer (2).<br />
