The 8 hole par 7 San Lorenzo golf
course designed by American Joseph Lee,
is considered to be one of the top golf
courses in Europe and has won several
awards - most recently ‘Best Golf Resort in
Europe 009’ by IAGTO (International
Association of Golf Tour Operators).
The course is just a ten minute courtesy
bus ride from the Dona Filipa hotel and
has become a showpiece of the Algarve.
Ria Formosa Nature Reserve
A good part of the course is virtually an
extension of the nature reserve with
fairways that run alongside saltwater
marshes and freshwater lagoons. This
protected environment is the habitat of
over 70 bird species, including herons,
hoopoes, white storks, coots, blackwinged
stilts and the rare purple gallinule,
making every visit unforgettable.

Prior to your game you can warm up on
the driving range, practice bunker or on
one of our putting or chipping greens.

The Clubhouse
Situated in the heart of the golf course,
the Clubhouse Restaurant is the perfect
place to tee your afternoon off with a
sumptuous meal or a cool drink. Relax on
the terrace that opens up to views of the
tenth hole and the driving range. The
Clubhouse is open daily for visitors or
golfers wanting to have a drink, or a quick
snack during their game, the snack and
beverage cart is available and operates
according to the golf course tee times.

As well as providing top of the range
merchandise, golf carts and trolleys can be
bought or rented from a team of
professionals that can also help with other
general enquiries.
