Jenseits der typisch touristischen Pfade
machen wir uns auf die Reise, um Thailand
mit dem Motorrad kennenzulernen.
Abwechslungsreich ist Thailands einzigartige
und subtropische Berglandschaft an
der Grenze zu Myanmar. Und besonders
reizvoll ist es, sie auf kleinen Trails und
Schotterwegen per Bike zu erkunden. Ausgangspunkt
ist Chiang Mai im bergigen
Norden Thailands. Von dort folgen wir
den Spuren der GS Trophy South East
Asia 2016 und lernen kennen, was einen
Trophy Spirit ausmacht: Sechs Tage durch
Thailands unbekannte Berg- und Flusslandschaften
Motorrad zu fahren und zugleich
die unglaubliche, kulinarische Vielfalt des
Landes zu entdecken.

THAILAND
Beyond the typical tourist trails, we set out
to explore Thailand by motorbike. Thailand’s
unique and subtropical mountain
landscape on the border with Myanmar is
varied and particularly appealing to explore
by bike on small trails and gravel roads.
The starting point is Chiang Mai in the
mountainous north of Thailand. From there
we follow in the footsteps of the Int. GS
Trophy South East Asia 2016 and get to
know what makes a Trophy Spirit: Riding a
motorcycle for six days through Thailand’s
unknown mountain and river landscapes,
while discovering the country’s incredible
culinary diversity.

Enduro- oder Motorradjacke mit Schulter- und Ellenbogenprotektoren
Rückenprotektor (Protektorenweste)

for cooler temperatures also protects from skin abrasion

Wichtiger Hinweis: Bringt bitte für das Gepäck auf der Tour
eine kleinere Tasche mit. Am besten haben sich die Rack Packs
von Touratech bewährt. Sie sind leicht, staub- und wasserdicht.
Somit müsst ihr nicht eure große Reisetasche (die ohne
Motorradbekleidung fast leer ist) auf der Tour mitschleppen!
Please note: Please bring along a smaller bag for your
luggage when on tour. Touratech rack-packs have proven
ideal for this. They are lightweight, dustproof and water-resistant.
This way, you must not carry along your bulky travel bag during
the tour (which will be nearly empty without your motorcycle
gear)!
