INTRODUCTION
My love for architecture is the biggest passion of mine and the main “driver” in my work. My
mission is to contribute to society by designing sophisticated and sustainable architecture
where function, people’s needs, and harmony with the context, climate, and culture would
merge and enhance our sense of surroundings.
I do strongly believe that by realizing my dream of becoming a professional architect and
obtaining good professional experience, I could apply my commitment, hard-working, and
self-motivation, that allow me to strive for the highest possible standards, and broaden
my skills further while making a valuable contribution.
INTRODUCTION
Located on the territory adjacent to the Olympic Sports Complex with a range of buildings
representing rich sports history the restaurant serves as a contemporary landmark that
softly integrates into the existing silhouette. The primary conceptual decisions were to
choose an elliptical shape as the main element referring to the forms of sports facilities
and conjoin a parametric envelope made of ceramic elements and a vast surface of
stained-glass windows. The openwork transparent shell conceals spacious room on the
ground floor overlooking the river that is blocked on the third floor and terraces are formed
under and above. As an architect, I was in charge of designing layout concepts and
details for ceramic elements in collaboration with fabricators through concept and design
development stages. Also, I was working with consultants including civil and structural
engineers for coordination of architectural project decisions. I was responsible for the
preparation of the presentation materials as well as putting together a drawing set for
obtaining permission from the expert council.
INTRODUCTION
The facades of the 15-story triangle in the plan building designed as a mix of vast surfaces
of stained glass windows and diagonal shell made of the aluminum frame with vertical
facade greenery such as maiden grape. The combination makes it possible to create an
elegant openwork facade that becomes a unique contemporary landmark. The prototype
of the decorative shell was the work of engineer Shukhov. The lobby of the office and
hotel part as well as retail are located on the first and second floors. From the third to the
eleventh floor there are office premises and from the twelfth to the fifteenth floors, there
are the hotel rooms. The building also has a 3-story stylobate in which the conference hall
and canteen are located. As an architect under the supervision of the senior architect, I
was involved in the project on the schematic design stage. I was in charge of the facades’
modeling and designing of the detailed hotel rooms’ and offices layouts as well as the
calculation of the main technical and economic parameters. I was responsible for the
preparation of the presentation materials.
INTRODUCTION
Блок 5
Taking the advantage of the steep slope the common stylobate is shaped. It protects the
complex from noise and environmental highway impacts and serves the operated roof
on it. On the stylobate, six blocks of the office and residential use lie on top of each other
forming the closed courtyard for residents overlooking the river and closed for cars. Also,
retail and fitness with a pool are situated in the stylobate. The facades of the blocks are
an architectural collage so each one has its own patterns. At the same time, they are
combined by cladding in two main colors such as black and white, making such variability
that doesn’t break the overall compositional integrity. I was involved as a lead architect
INTRODUCTION
The project was selected as the winner of the competition for the concept of reconstruction
of the Luzhniki swimming pool. Keeping the overall style and individual elements of the
existing building, the authors of the project increase the building in length and height.
The lower part repeats the forms of the historical building and the individual elements
that decorated the facade are to be reproduced. The southern and northern walls
with authentic elements and colonnades stretch out recreating balance with the Small
Sports Arena. An ornamental grade of connecting circles grows out of the classical style
structure. I was involved in the project as a lead architect whithin the project team at the
stage of construction documents design. In the process, I was in charge of participating
in meetings with the client and a range of consultants, including civil, structural engineers,
and fabricators to coordinate and provide architectural decisions as well as designing
models and preparing drafts. I supervised the architects and I was responsible for meeting
INTRODUCTION
The main aim of the project was to design a new building with offices and exhibition
space with a stunning and modern appearance that is supposed to house a headquarters
of the “Trumpf’’. The main feature of the pentagonal building in plan is to combine the
vast surfaces of stained glass windows, that are clad in u-glass panels, with the convexconcave
roof supported by timber beams. The coalition makes it possible to design the
unique facades that are strived to become a contemporary architectural landmark of the
company. The layout of the areas inside provides the arrangement of multi-light spaces
with interesting functional and visual connections between them, as well as the inner
courtyard. I was involved in the project as a lead architect in an international project team
on concept and design development stages. I took part in designing details and layouts,
coordinating and providing architectural decisions by participating in meetings with a
client and consultants. I supervised the architects and I was responsible for meeting
deadlines and the quality of issued documents.
INTRODUCTION
The process, that involves the complex reconstruction and restoration of the main building
and the old masters’ gallery, as well as the construction of new buildings, is aimed to
create a new museum village. Ensuring the preservation of the main building as an
architectural monument of federal significance, its reconstruction is supposed to create the
underground level that is a vast universal space. It is designed as a monumental hypostyle
hall that can be used as a covered city square or an exhibition space and connected
with the other museum’s buildings through the underground passages. The restoration
of the main building includes its adaptation to modern museum climate technologies.
I was involved in the project as a lead architect at the stage of design development of
the main museum’s building. In the process of work, I was in charge of participating in
meetings with civil, structural engineers, and museum curators to coordinate and provide
architectural decisions. I took part in the building’s inspection to estimate its adjustment
to modern technologies as well as the desining models and drafts.
