par ailleurs l’ancien Chef du Ritz à Paris.<br />
RESTAURATI<strong>ON</strong> LOCALE ~ Tout au long du Festival,<br />
les restaurants de Saint-Martin concocteront des spécialités<br />
ou menus mettant en lumière la banane plantain, star de cette<br />
édition. Meilleure Table de Saint-Martin, Catégorie Gourmet<br />
Stars, City Stars, Beach Stars, Authentic Stars, Meilleur<br />
Dessert, Meilleur Service et Accueil… Les établissements<br />
qui remporteront ces prix se verront offrir des actions de<br />
promotion et de communication sur-mesure.<br />
VOCATI<strong>ON</strong>S ~ Les jeunes seront aussi sensibilisés. En<br />
effet, les chefs iront à la rencontre des étudiants du Lycée<br />
Professionnel Daniella Jeffry. Inspiration et transmission<br />
seront les maîtres-mots de ces échanges qui promettent d’être<br />
fructueux. Une compétition challengera les élèves de la section<br />
hôtellerie / restauration. Les gagnants auront l’opportunité de<br />
suivre un stage de perfectionnement dans l’un des restaurants<br />
gagnants ou dans ceux des chefs invités. Une formation courte<br />
dans un établissement de formation français et du matériel de<br />
cuisine seront aussi en jeu.<br />

Canada. The patron chef of the 2022<br />
Festival is Nicolas Sale, a two-star Michelin<br />
chef who has participated as a jury member on<br />
Top Chef, and was formerly the head chef for the<br />
restaurants at The Ritz in Paris.<br />
LOCAL RESTAURATI<strong>ON</strong> ~ Throughout the<br />
Festival, the restaurants of Saint Martin will create<br />
specialties or menus with an accent on the plantain<br />
banana, star of this edition. Best Table of Saint Martin,<br />
Gourmet Stars, City Stars, Beach Stars, Authentic Stars,<br />
Best Dessert, Best Service… The restaurants that win<br />
these prizes will benefit from personalized promotion and<br />
marketing efforts.<br />
CAREERS ~ There are also activities for young people.<br />
The chefs will meet with students from the Daniella Jeffry<br />
Professional High School. Inspiration and transmission<br />
will be the keywords from what promise to be fruitful<br />
experiences. A competition will challenge the students of<br />
the hotel/restauration sector, and the winners will have the<br />
opportunity to take part in a training program in one of<br />
the winning restaurants or with one of the guest chefs.<br />
A short training course in a French school and cooking<br />
equipment are also among the prizes.<br />
