Police, National Guard, State Troopers
Actors in police uniforms must in all
circumstances remain on the set. Any sound
effects representing police activity (i.e. gunshots
and sirens) are prohibited in public places and
must be done in the studio.
Rented police vehicles must be taken to the set
with the greatest discretion. Off the set, any logo
or inscription of the police must be covered up.
Use of siren is also prohibited in public and must
be done in post.
Use of police personnel must be approved in
advance by the police department.
The S.I.R.P.A. Gendarmerie can approve
gendarmes playing themselves.
Concerning on-set security (private use of streets,
pavement, sidewalks, detours, regulating traffic),
address requests to the local departmental
prefect one month in advance.
La Poste
Pour obtenir une autorisation de tournage de La
Poste, un dossier complet avec attestation
d’assurance doit être déposé auprès de la
Direction Départementale du lieu de tournage
(Service Communication).
Postal service
For permission to film in the post office, or its
property or personnel, please submit a complete
request to the postal administration of the area
where you wish to shoot.
