Helicopters
Permits for filming from a helicopter are
relatively complex. The helicopter company will
apply for the flyover permit after the shot has
been planned and situated geographically.
Some flyover permits are more difficult to obtain
than others: in general, it is difficult to receive
permission to film over cities.
Allow three weeks to two months for a permit to
be granted.
TRAIN
TRAINS
Les autorisations de tournage sont nécessaires
sur l’ensemble du domaine de la SNCF (gares,
trains...). La demande et le scénario doivent
parvenir à la SNCF, au moins15 jours avant le
début des prises de vues, ou entre 3 semaines et
1,5 mois en cas de mise à disposition de
personnel ou de matériel ferroviaire (train à quai
en particulier).
Après examen du dossier, la SNCF établit un
devis. Son montant varie selon le site demandé
(gare TGV ou autre), le type de train (TGV, Corail,
banlieue TER) et la nature du film (long métrage,
court métrage, film publicitaire ou film
d’époque).
Les conventions de tournage sont signées et
réglées financièrement au plus tard 15 jours
ouvrables avant le début de l’opération.
Il est à noter que les tournages de films de
fiction ne sont pas autorisés les vendredis,
samedis, dimanches, fêtes et veilles de fêtes,
ainsi qu’aux périodes de fort trafic.
Shooting permits are required for all SNCF
property (stations, trains, etc.). A complete
request including script should be submitted to
the SNCF 15 days before the shoot. Please allow
between 3 weeks or 1,5 month if the shoot is to
include SNCF personnel or property (stationary
trains for example).
The permit fee, when applicable, varies with the
location and/or the train to be filmed, as well as
the nature of the shoot. The shooting agreement
must be signed and the permit fee paid at least
15 days before the shoot.
Please note that fiction film shoots are not
permitted on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays,
holidays, days before a holiday or during heavy
traffic periods.

des ports d’intérêt national, il faut s’adresser à la
direction du site concerné.
