Public places and private property
Public places
For shoots in other public places (shops,
restaurants, etc.), permission of the owner is
sufficient. However, a permit is required from the
main district precinct or the local police
department to park production vehicles.
As concerns shooting permits, the following are
not considered public places:
• railway stations,
• subway stations,
• airports,
• motorways,
• monuments and places of national heritage,
• museums,
• parks and gardens.
The procedures and contacts for different types
of locations are listed below. For locations that
do not appear here, contact the Regional film
Commission
Propriété privée
L’autorisation est à solliciter directement auprès
du propriétaire. En cas de présence d’un
locataire, il faut également l’accord de ce
dernier. Par contre, le locataire n’a aucun droit
pour autoriser seul un tournage.
Private property
Permission must be obtained from the owner. If
there is a tenant occupying the space, he/she will
also have to give approval. The tenant, however,
cannot authorize a shoot without the owner’s
agreement.
