Since 2000 the Association pour le
Développement Culturel Européen et
International, (A.D.C.E.I) has informed, guided
and assisted structures involved in the creation
of cultural projects in the PACA Region
(associations, local authorities, institutions, etc.)
regarding European financing systems.
Thanks to the financial support of the PACA
Regional Council and the Bouches-du-Rhône
General Council, and close collaboration with
representatives of the European Commission and
the European Parliament at Marseilles, ADCEI
provides its competencies and services to all
cultural entities wishing to give their projects a
European and international dimension.
This initiative, based on the principle of
territorial proximity and case-by-case response, is
an innovative system belonging to the national
“Regional European Cultural Centres” network
supported by the European Commission, the
French Ministry of Culture and Communication
(Delegation of development and international
Affairs), and D.A.T.A.R (Delegation for Regional
Development and Action).
Its activity as expert consultant leads ADCEI to
work in partnership on European projects
originating from the PACA Region, and it is also
the initiator and leading entity of a network of
cultural operators in the Euro-Mediterranean
region, thanks to its involvement in the
“EUROMEDINCULTURE” project financed by the
European Union.
