de matériels, etc. ainsi que d’une documentation
générale sur le cinéma, l’audiovisuel, et
certaines particularités régionales. À la demande
des sociétés de production, la CRF transmet
également des listes répertoriant les prestataires
de service recherchés.
Its missions are to
- Manage, coordinate and valorise the network of
film shooting accommodation offices in the
region;
- Promote local resources, shooting locations,
artistic talent, skills, technical services, logistics
resources;
- Encourage and facilitate the accommodation of
film shooting in the region and assist film crews
free of charge;
- Act as interface between the production and
local contacts;
- Design, organise and update the databases of
film location sites and local professionals
involved in the film and audiovisual sector;
- Monitor the films assisted by the Region;
- Ensure that the Region is present at
professional events related to the film and
audiovisual sector (Cannes Film Festival, Sunny
Side, Clermont-Ferrand, etc.);
- Organise meetings between different
professionals in the sector;
- Publish the PACA Region “film shooting
guide”;
- Manage and make available professional
documentation.
The resources implemented
The CRF has a regularly updated file of regional
decors on the web site www.filmfrance.com,
which is the site of the National Film
Commission France.
This image base permits fast reaction to all
location scouting requests with several levels of
access to information on the sets chosen.
It manages a file of technicians listed by
professional category (768 technicians). It is
regularly updated and each CV is validated with
the professional concerned. The technicians’ CVs
are sent to production companies according to
the jobs requested.
It negotiates agreements with institutions and
regional structures directly concerned by film
shooting authorisations and has a file of contacts
for authorisations to shoot on private sites.
The CRF has available a large number of
technical catalogues on equipment and services
in the region: production and post-production
companies, rental and sale of equipment, etc. as
well as general documentation on the film and
audiovisual sector, and certain regional
particularities. If requested by production
companies, the CRF can also transmit specific
lists of services.
