2019 was the worst year in a long time for Robinson,
who delivered only 196 aircraft: 19 R22, 54 R66 and
123 R44. In 2017 and 2018, annual sales of the
helicopter manufacturer approached 300. «The
market has been very calm since 2018» recognizes
Kurt Robinson, who however notes a resumption
of sales in the last weeks of 2019, which augurs a
more profitable year 2020. “I am very optimistic for
2020 and I think we will be back in the area of 300
annual sales. The first six months of production of
the R44 and R66 are already sold, «explains the CEO
of Robinson Helicopters.
With 25 Cabri G2s delivered last year, Guimbal
continues to compete with the Californian giant
on the two-seaters market. Bruno agrees with Kurt:
2019 has not been a very good year. Bruno Guimbal,
however, takes great pride in the results of the
major customer satisfaction survey conducted by
the American magazine Vertical. The little thumb
from Aix-en-Provence exceeds all the big players in
the sector and wins first place!

L’année 2019 a été la plus mauvaise pour
Robinson depuis bien longtemps, avec la livraison
de seulement 196 appareils : 19 R22, 54R66 et
123R44. C’est une centaine de moins par rapport
à 2017 et 2018, quand l’hélicoptériste tutoyait
les 300 ventes annuelles. « Le marché a été très
calme depuis 2018 » reconnaît Kurt Robinson, Kurt
Robinson note toutefois un rebond sur les ventes
dans les dernières semaines de 2019, ce qui laisse
augurer une année 2020 plus profitable « Je suis
très optimiste pour l’année qui débute et je pense
que nous serons de retour dans la zone des 300
ventes » explique le PDG de Robinson Helicopters.
« Les six premiers mois de production des R44 et
R66 sont déjà vendus ». Avec 25 Cabri G2 livrés l’an
dernier Guimbal continue de faire jeu égal avec le
géant californien pour ce qui concerne les biplaces.
Bruno est d’accord avec Kurt, 2019 n’a pas été une
très bonne année, Bruno Guimbal tire en revanche
une très grande fierté des résultats de la grande
enquête menée par le magazine américain Vertical
sur la satisfaction client. Le petit poucet aixois
dame le pion à tous les grands acteurs du secteur
et décroche la première place !
