BRISTOW AND ERA TO MERGE : BIRTH OF A GIANT
Bristow Group Inc. and Era Group Inc. announced on January 23, 2020 that they entered into a definitive agreement to combine the
two companies in an all-stock transaction. The combined company, which will be named Bristow, will strengthen its global leadership
position with significant operations throughout the Americas, Nigeria, Norway, the United Kingdom and Australia for offshore aviation
transportation and search and rescue solutions. The new organization will offer a broader range of world-class, efficient solutions
through enhanced fleet size and diversity, continuing to invest in new technology and safety features to meet the evolving needs of new
and existing oil and gas customers and governmental agencies.
FUSION BRISTOW - ERA : NAISSANCE D’UN GÉANT
Bristow Group et Era Group ont annoncé le 23 janvier 2020 qu’ils avaient conclu un accord définitif pour fusionner les deux sociétés
dans le cadre d’une transaction portant sur l’ensemble des actions. La société, qui portera le nom de Bristow, renforcera sa position de
leader mondial grâce à des opérations importantes sur le continent américain, au Nigeria, en Norvège, au Royaume-Uni et en Australie
dans le domaine du transport aérien offshore et des solutions de recherche et de sauvetage. La nouvelle organisation offrira une gamme
plus large d’opérations grâce à une taille et une diversité accrues de sa flotte. La nouvelle entité s’engage par ailleurs à investir dans de
nouvelles technologies et de nouveaux dispositifs de sécurité afin de répondre aux besoins des clients nouveaux et existants du secteur
pétrolier et gazier ainsi que des organismes gouvernementaux.
