découvrirez la magnifique architecture géologique et
les merveilles naturelles de ses murs tsingy datant de
plus de 60 millions d'années ainsi qu'une abondante
biodiversité.

De Namoroka
Parmi les parcs nationaux exceptionnels on distingue
particulièrement celui du Tsingy de Namoroka. Il est
réputé pour sa biodiversité abondante et authentique,
répartie sur une superficie de 22 227 hectares. On y
retrouve plus d’une trentaine d’espèces de reptiles, plus
d’une dizaine de mammifères dont 8 espèces de lémuriens dont
l’Hapalémur gris, le lémurien à fourche oriental, l’Aye-aye. Le parc
se démarque également par ses murs de Tsingy, ses canyons, ainsi
que ses nombreux caves et bassins naturels. Ajoutons à cela que le
parc est orné par une forêt mêlant baobabs (de l’espèce Adansonia
za, endémique de Madagascar) raphias et manguiers.
Le Parc National du Tsingy de Namoroka est situé dans la partie
nord-ouest de l’île, plus précisément dans la province de Majunga. La
ville la plus proche du parc est celle d’Andranomavo qui se trouve à
22 km au sud-est. A 50 km au nord, on a la ville de Soalala. 4 rivières
ruissellent dans le parc dont Ambatofolaka, Mandevy, Andriabe
et Ambararata; elles assurent l’alimentation en eau des villages
forment des plans d’eaux temporaires qui offrent aux oiseaux des
sites de nidifications. Afin de découvrir ce réservoir de biodiversité,
plusieurs circuits, d’au moins 24 km chacun, sillonnent le parc.

When visiting Namoroka National Park you will discover
the magnificent geological architecture and natural
wonder of the Tsingy walls dating back more than 60
million years plus abundant biodiversity.
A
mong the exceptional national parks, the Tsingy of
Namoroka is particularly noteworthy. It is renowned
for its abundant and authentic biodiversity, spread
over an area of 22,227 hectares. There are more than
30 species of reptiles, more than 10 mammals with
eight species of lemurs including the grey Hapalemur, the eastern
fork lemur and the Aye-aye. The park also stands out for its Tsingy
walls, its canyons, as well as its numerous natural caves and ponds.
Added to this the park is decorated by a forest mixing baobabs (of
the species Adansonia za, endemic to Madagascar), raphias and
mango trees.
The Tsingy de Namoroka National Park is located in the northwestern
part of the island, more precisely in the province of
Majunga. The closest town to the park is Andranomavo, 22km
to the south-east. Fifty kilometres to the north is the town of
Soalala. Four rivers flow through the park, including Ambatofolaka,
Mandevy, Andriabe and Ambarararata; they supply water to the
villages and form temporary water storages that provide nesting
sites for birds. In order to discover this reservoir of biodiversity,
several circuits of at least 24km each, criss-cross the park.
