KINGELINE, MAMA SOLAIRE
A 45 ans, cette mère de deux enfants a accepté le défi de
quitter sa famille, son village, son pays pendant six mois
pour le bien de toute sa communauté. Elles étaient au
nombre de quatre «grand-mères solaire» à partir suivre une
formation sur la technologie solaire à Tilonia, en Inde. A son
retour, Kingeline compte inévitablement parmi les femmes
porteuses de changements dans le village d’Ambakivao, à
l’ouest de Madagascar. Ce programme a été initié par le World
Wide Fund for nature (WWF). Parallèlement, 12 femmes ont
été présélectionnées pour devenir des femmes ingénieurs
solaire. Les conditions? Etre âgée de 35 à 50 ans, avoir des
enfants et des petits-enfants, être dynamique et s’engager à
servir sa communauté à l’issue de la formation en assurant
l’électrification de son village.
Outre le savoir-faire autour de l’énergie solaire (fabrication
des composants, réparations des systèmes photovoltaïques…)
elles ont également reçu une formation en leadership, en
développement personnel, sur les droits des femmes et sur
la technique du compostage. Ce projet à double objectif (
promotion de la gent féminine et protection de l’environnement)
est plus que bénéfique pour la communauté. Cela a apporté,
en outre, beaucoup de changements dans la vie personnelle
de Kingeline, comme par exemple la propreté ou le niveau
en langue qui a été largement amélioré.Son nouveau super
pouvoir de la promotion des femmes et la protection de
l'environnement est plus que bénéfique pour la communauté.
KINGELINE, SOLAR MAMA
At the age of 45, this mother of two accepted the
challenge to leave her family, her village, her country
for six months for the good of an entire community.
They were four 'solar grandmothers' who were
trained in solar technology in Tilonia, India. Upon
her return, Kingeline is among the women who
are bringing change to the village of Ambakivao in
western Madagascar. The programme was initiated
by the World Wide Fund for nature (WWF). Twelve
women volunteers were pre-selected to become
women solar engineers. The conditions were they
had to be between 35 and 50 years old, to have
children and grandchildren, to be dynamic and to
be committed to serving the community after the
training by ensuring the electrification of the village.
In addition to the know-how around solar energy,
manufacturing components, repairing photovoltaic
systems, they also received a reinforcement in
leadership, personal development, notions on
women's rights, composting technique. In short, this
has brought many changes in Kingeline's personal
life; cleanliness and her language skills have also
improved. A woman who brings change, that's what
Kingeline has become. Her new super power of
promoting women and protecting the environment
is more than beneficial to the community.
