Changer d’air / Tradition • Tradition la sAnto doMingo coLonial fest TROIS JOURS DE CÉLÉBRATION MUSICALE ET CULTURELLE SANTO DOMINGO COLONIAL FEST - A THREE-DAY MUSICAL AND CULTURAL CELEBRATION Du 22 au 25 novembre, du matin à l’aube (de 10h à 1h du matin), se tiendra la Santo Domingo Colonial Fest, festival de la Zone Coloniale où des milliers de Dominicains et de visiteurs étrangers pourront se délecter du meilleur du panorama musical, artistique, culturel, gastronomique dominicain, et plonger dans l’histoire d’une ville parée pour trois jours de célébrations. Une ville qui a tout à offrir. Tradition • Traditiona / Changer d’air Le Colonial Fest est un festival consacré au meilleur du patrimoine musical, artistique, culturel, architectural et gastronomique dominicain, ainsi qu’à l’histoire de la République Dominicaine, via la mise en lumière et valorisation de l’authenticité et spécificité dominicaine, ainsi qu’une véritable immersion dans l’histoire de la ville. L’essence de la culture dominicaine vous permettra de voyager dans le temps via une expérience idyllique. Ce festival vient répondre à l’impératif de sensibilisation de la population locale comme de passage, quant à l’extraordinaire valeur culturelle, historique et architecturale de la Zone Coloniale de Saint-Domingue, en plaçant celle-ci sous les feux des projecteurs à l’internationale. Cette année au Colonial FEST, des artistes de renommée mondiale ainsi que des talents émergents de la scène musicale internationale se réuniront au cœur de la plus ancienne ville des Amériques, pour rendre hommage à la culture dominicaine. Des spectacles musicaux se tiendront à chaque coin de rue, avec des zones VIP et bars entre autres activités avec pour vocation de faire vibrer la ville, avec au final un grand concert de clôture. Graffeurs, artistes contemporains et urbains allant du rap au hip hop, en passant par le reggaeton, le dembow et le merengue ou la house, contribueront à en fortifier le décor. Quant aux lieux de restauration, ils auront pour mission de concocter leurs meilleurs plats pour le plaisir des palais. Un peu d’histoire… ~ Le festival né à l’initiative du The Colonial Fest is a Festival to celebrate and commemorate the best of Dominican music, art, culture, the monuments, the gastronomy and the history of the Dominican Republic and to create awareness and appreciation for the Dominican authenticity and idiosyncrasy while reliving the history of a city in three glorious days and nights . This elixir of Dominican Culture will allow you to travel through time and come out on the other side of paradise. The idea behind the Festival is the answer to the urgent need to create awareness, within the citizens, as well as within the tourists that visit The Colonial City , about the unique historical, cultural and monumental value in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo showcasing this to the world. At this year's Colonial FEST, world-renowned musical artists and new talents of the great international music scene will unite in the oldest city of the Americas to rejoice the Dominican culture. Music Festivals throughout the streets including VIP areas, bars and music, among others will grace the city for three exquisite days and nights. Groups and urban artists of the rap, hip hop, regguetón, dembow and merengue, house genres, Graffiti artists and contemporary urban art will add to the decor.
