The BD SurePath liquid-based Pap test is the only FDA-approved Pap test
which ensures 100% of the sample collected is sent to the lab for processing
and analysis. In the lab the BD SurePath Cell Enrichment Process helps in
eliminating up to 80% of the obscuring material, enabling the pathologist
to easily visualize the diagnostically relevant cells. Our range of laboratory
equipment including the BD PrepStain , the BD SlidePrep Processor, the
BD Totalys system and the BD FocalPoint SlideProfiler will improve the
laboratory workflow and productivity by allowing to focus the pathologist‘s time
on those slides with the highest probability of containing an abnormality. The
unique design of our new BD Onclarity HPV test used in combination with the
Viper LT, a fully automated and integrated tabletop instrument for molecular
testing, completes our product offer for cervical cancer screening.
