RECLAIMED TEAK<br />
Reclaimed teak is tremendously durable<br />
and retains its integrity in the<br />
face of expected knocks and marks<br />
that a well used piece of furniture will<br />
experience. Reclaimed teak has worn<br />
over the years and created mature<br />
seeds, which have birthed beautiful<br />
and rich colors. It is a very strong<br />
and dense wood. The oil on teak<br />
wood makes it very robust. Most<br />
sustainable furniture is made from<br />
reclaimed or recycled hardwood because<br />
it is the most durable and longlasting.<br />
Notches and scratches are<br />
an integral part of the furniture, and<br />
an aide memoire of the chronological<br />
quality of the wood.<br />
MAINTENANCE<br />
Teak does not require any special<br />
maintenance routine. Left outside,<br />
the exposed surfaces of the furniture<br />
will become a soft silvery grey<br />
in color. Weather will cause some<br />
surface erosion leading to slight surface<br />
roughness, possible mildew and<br />
checking. Checking is a natural process<br />
that occurs when teak develops<br />
small cracks in the end grain. However,<br />
this does not affect the durability<br />
of teak furniture.<br />
ALL WEATHER WICKER<br />
All our wicker furniture is hand woven<br />
with Viro® and Rehau TM fiber,<br />
both premium synthetic Polyethylene<br />
fibers. It is highly flexible, UV<br />
and weather resistant. This fiber is<br />
designed to be insensitive to temperature<br />
differences ranging between<br />
-25C-70C. It is 100% recyclable and<br />
resistant to chlorine and salt water.<br />
Our fiber is guaranteed for 3 years<br />
from delivery to withstand fading,<br />
weathering or cracking. The mechanical<br />
and physical properties have<br />
been tested by the Sentra Teknologi<br />
Polimer, Indonesia and the productivity<br />
and Standard Board, Singapore in<br />
accordance with the test methods<br />
issued by the American Society for<br />
Testing and Materials (ASTM) and<br />
the International Organization for<br />

Being a synthetic material, our all<br />
weather wicker outdoor furnitures<br />
requires almost no maintenance. If<br />
a piece gets dirty, it can simply be<br />
hosed off with water. For tougher<br />
