Chaque pays avance à son rythme et selon ses spécificités. La Belgique est
avancée en termes d’ouverture au marché de la flexibilité, mais les ménages sont
actuellement exclus de ce marché, pourtant porteur de bénéfices importants tant à
un niveau individuel que collectif. L’initiative de Lampiris démontre qu'une action
citoyenne peut avoir un impact significatif et que les consommateurs sont prêts à
agir. Des adaptations régulatoires et tarifaires sont donc nécessaires afin de
permettre aux consommateurs de devenir acteurs du marché et de profiter des
opportunités qui s‘y présentent. Ces évolutions permettront également à terme
aux gestionnaires de réseau d’assurer la sécurité de leur réseau de manière plus
efficace et à moindre coût.

vooruitgang geboekt wat betreft de opening van de flexibiliteitsmarkt. Maar de
gezinnen zijn momenteel uitgesloten van deze markt, alhoewel deze beloftevol is
zowel voor de individuele verbruiker als voor de gemeenschap. Het initiatief van
Lampiris toont aan dat een actie gericht op de burger betekenisvol kan zijn en dat
de verbruikers bereid zijn hierop in te gaan. De regelgeving en de tarieven moeten
echter aangepast worden opdat de verbruikers marktactoren zouden worden en
van de opportuniteiten die zich aanbieden maximaal zouden kunnen genieten.
Deze evolutie zal ook de netbeheerders in staat stellen de veiligheid van hun net
te verzekeren op een meer efficiënte wijze en tegen lagere kosten.
Each country is moving at its own pace and according to its specificities. Belgium is
advanced in terms of openness to the flexibility market, but households are
currently excluded from this market, yet holder of significant benefits both at an
individual and collective level. Lampiris’ initiative shows that citizen action can have
a significant impact and that consumers are ready to act. Regulatory adaptations
and tariff are therefore necessary in order to allow consumers to become players in
the market and take advantage of available opportunities. These changes will also
allow network managers to ensure the security of their network more efficiently and
at lower cost.
