Le Grand Hôtel des Sablettes-Plage est un boutique-hôtel à l’âme singulière, classé 4<br />
étoiles, offrant un accès direct à la mer et une vue impr<strong>en</strong>able à 180° sur la<br />
Méditerranée.<br />
A mi-chemin <strong>en</strong>tre Marseille et Saint-Tropez, La Seyne-sur-Mer offre tous les attraits<br />
d’une destination balnéaire méditerrané<strong>en</strong>ne. De chaudes journées estivales, un hiver<br />
doux et <strong>en</strong>soleillé, un climat qui a fait l’histoire de cette destination historique.<br />
Le riche passé des lieux repr<strong>en</strong>d vie grâce à une décoration classique revisitée dans un<br />
esprit maritime. Avec ses 75 chambres et suites, ouvrant sur les jardins arborés ou sur la<br />
Méditerranée, le Grand Hôtel des Sablettes-Plage propose de revivre l’héritage de<br />
l’âge d’or de la Côte d’Azur. Une expéri<strong>en</strong>ce unique.<br />
A l’origine, le Grand Hôtel réunit l’implantation de deux bâtim<strong>en</strong>ts : l’hôtellerie dans la<br />
construction néo-classique, à l’architecture typique de la Côte d’Azur du XIXème siècle,<br />
avec dans « La Galerie », un restaurant lounge ouvert à toute heure, et dans la partie<br />
att<strong>en</strong>ante, l’anci<strong>en</strong> casino de jeu est dev<strong>en</strong>u l’espace de restauration: au rez-dechaussée,<br />
le restaurant gastronomique « Horizon », à l’étage, la brasserie maritime, « Le<br />

Notre singularité<br />
Au XIX e siècle, un visionnaire rev<strong>en</strong>u de Turquie où il a fait fortune, Marius Michel<br />
Pacha va donner à la Seyne-sur-Mer son ori<strong>en</strong>tation touristique. En créant hôtels de<br />
luxe, casinos de jeu et villas magnifiques, il fera de La Seyne-sur-Mer une étape<br />
obligée pour la haute société <strong>en</strong> villégiature.<br />
Au début du XX e siècle, avec l’<strong>en</strong>gouem<strong>en</strong>t du tourisme balnéaire, la plage des<br />
Sablettes pr<strong>en</strong>d elle aussi tout son s<strong>en</strong>s. C’est ce riche passé qui revit aujourd’hui sous<br />
l’impulsion du Grand Hôtel des Sablettes-Plage.<br />
Situé sur l’isthme de Saint-Mandrier, le long de la plage des Sablettes, qui s’ét<strong>en</strong>d du<br />
petit port de pêche de Saint-Elme jusqu’à Mar Vivo, et face aux rochers<br />
emblématiques des Deux Frères, le Grand Hôtel des Sablettes-Plage profite d’un<br />
emplacem<strong>en</strong>t exceptionnel, pleinem<strong>en</strong>t tourné vers la Méditerranée.<br />
« Côte d’Azur » les origines :<br />
Durant les années folles, la Côte d’Azur était l’<strong>en</strong>droit où l’on s’amusait le plus : une<br />
cli<strong>en</strong>tèle internationale <strong>en</strong>vahissait la « Fr<strong>en</strong>ch Riviera », pour y découvrir les charmes<br />
du Sud-Est de la France, de Cassis jusqu’à M<strong>en</strong>ton.<br />
En 1887, un sous-préfet originaire de la Côte d’Or et adepte de cette région, inv<strong>en</strong>ta<br />
le terme « Côte d’Azur », <strong>en</strong> faisant référ<strong>en</strong>ce au bleu unique du ciel et de la mer.<br />
C’est le long des côtes Hyèroises que baigné de rayons du soleil méditerrané<strong>en</strong>, il<br />
rebaptisa la « Fr<strong>en</strong>ch Riviera » <strong>en</strong> Côte d’Azur.<br />

Le restaurant « Horizon » la table gastronomique de la maison, « Le Navigateur » et<br />

La Galerie - Naturalité et Finger Food<br />
Le coeur et l’âme de l’hôtel<br />
Cet espace à vivre et à découvrir est situé dans la grande verrière qui longe le<br />
bâtim<strong>en</strong>t face à la mer.<br />
Idéal pour comm<strong>en</strong>cer la journée autour d’un petit-déjeuner ou pour se dét<strong>en</strong>dre<br />
<strong>en</strong>tre a<strong>mis</strong> ou <strong>en</strong> famille, autour d’un repas léger, d’un cocktail ou d’un thé l’après<br />
midi. Le bar de la Galerie est ouvert du petit-déjeuner jusque tard le soir. C’est un<br />

Tout comm<strong>en</strong>ce <strong>en</strong> 1989, quand Sandrine et Stéphane Lelièvre, 19 ans, tout juste<br />
diplômés des lycées hôteliers de Nice et de Marseille, rachèt<strong>en</strong>t un petit snack sur le<br />
port de Carqueiranne et décid<strong>en</strong>t d’ouvrir "Les Pins P<strong>en</strong>chés".<br />
À l’époque, le restaurant ne comptait que 12 places assises, Stéphane était seul <strong>en</strong><br />
cuisine et Sandrine assurait le service. D’année <strong>en</strong> année, le petit restaurant<br />
s’agrandi et c’est maint<strong>en</strong>ant avec leurs deux <strong>en</strong>fants Adrian et Marie-May qu’ils ont<br />

Passionnées par les métiers de l'accueil et amoureux de leur région natale,<br />
Stéphane Lelièvre et sa famille se lanc<strong>en</strong>t <strong>en</strong> 2016 dans le projet fou de faire<br />
revivre ce monum<strong>en</strong>t et de lui redonner son prestige d'antan. La rénovation s'est<br />

The Grand Hôtel des Sablettes-Plage is a boutique hotel with a unique history. <br />

Mediterranean seaside resort. Some hot summer days, a nice mild and sunny winter, a<br />
really nice weather and climate that made the history of this well known destination.<br />
The soul of the place comes alive by combining the rich past of the building with a<br />
modern decoration in a maritime spirit. With 75 <strong>room</strong>s and suits, the hotel has be<strong>en</strong><br />
created and designed to offer a unique experi<strong>en</strong>ce. Le Grand Hotel des Sablettes<br />
Plage offers to travel back and relive the gold<strong>en</strong> age of the Fr<strong>en</strong>ch Riviera.<br />
As originally, the Grand Hotel des Sablettes-Plage reunites two buildings. The hotel is<br />
located in the Neo classic building with a typical Fr<strong>en</strong>ch Riviera architecture of the XIX<br />
c<strong>en</strong>tury. Here, there is « La Galerie » the cosy lounge bar and the Spa by NUXE. In the<br />
other building where the Casino used to be are the F&B outlets. On the ground floor,<br />
the gastronomic restaurant « Horizon » and on the first floor the Maritime Brasserie<br />
« Le Navigateur ».<br />

Our id<strong>en</strong>tity<br />
Back in the XIX’s c<strong>en</strong>tury, a Fr<strong>en</strong>ch visionary came back from Turkey where he made<br />
fortune, Marius Michel Pacha gave to La Seyne-sur-Mer its touristic ori<strong>en</strong>tation. By<br />
creating luxury hotels, Casinos and outstanding properties he made La Seyne-sur-Mer<br />
the « place to be » for the high society members.<br />
At the beginning of the XX’s c<strong>en</strong>tury, with the <strong>en</strong>thusiasm of the seaside tourism, the<br />
Sablettes beach became really famous for its white sand and really blue water. It’s the<br />
rich past of the place that became live again thanks to Le Grand Hotel des Sablettes-<br />
Plage.<br />
On the isthmus of Saint-Mandrier, along the Sablettes beach, with ext<strong>en</strong>ds from the<br />
fishing port of Saint Elme to Mar Vivo, and facing the emblematic Two Brothers rocks,<br />
Le Grand Hotel des Sablettes-plage <strong>en</strong>joys a very special location fully ori<strong>en</strong>ted<br />
towards the Mediterranean Sea.<br />
The origins of the « Fr<strong>en</strong>ch Riviera » :<br />
During the roaring tw<strong>en</strong>ties the Fr<strong>en</strong>ch Riviera was the place to be. An international<br />
population arriving on the shores of « La Côte d’Azur » to discover the Mediterranean<br />
dolce vita and the special charm of South East France from Cassis to M<strong>en</strong>ton.<br />
It’s in Hyères that in 1887, a sub-prefect from the Fr<strong>en</strong>ch Gold<strong>en</strong> Coast (« Côte d’or »<br />
in Burgundy), created the « Côte d’Azur ». « Azur » was making refer<strong>en</strong>ce to the really<br />
special color of the sea and the sky. It can literally be translated as the « Blue Coast ».<br />
and the « Fr<strong>en</strong>ch Riviera » was born.<br />
