The restaurant car offers an opportunity
to enjoy panoramic views of the fabulous
landscape while savouring culinary delights
served by the elvetino crew. Comfortable
seats, warm colours and a generous seating
layout create an ambience for travel with
pleasure. Meals available in the restaurant
car are a la carte, ranging from the popular
breakfast to regularly changing menus
through to themed culinary treats. A special
menu which changes at monthly intervals offers
variety and features Swiss and international
specialities. Make sure you try some
of the delicious food when you next have the
opportunity. You will not be disappointed.

chercher à votre lieu de destination le surlendemain

The announcement ‘wine, coffee, beer, mineral
water!’ signals the arrival of the catering
service on board of some GoldenPass
Panoramic trains. As a passenger you can recline
luxuriously in your seat and be waited
on. Drinks will be brought to your seat by a
hostess. Snacks, such as sandwiches, are also
available.
GoldenPass Classic
Enjoy being waited on like a king sitting in a
luxurious seat and sipping champagne as you
take in the view of the Alps passing by outside
the window. This is the experience proposed
by the GoldenPass Classic train of the
Montreux-Bernese Oberland Railway. Passengers
in the wine-tasting car in 2nd class or
the gorgeous Belle Epoque cars in 1st class
can order a selection of cheese and cold meat
specialities served on a wooden board to be

from the Lake Geneva region is the perfect
accompaniment. Reservations are strongly
recommended. This offer costs CHF 25. -.

Your luggage travels on the panorama trains
with you without obstructing the stunning
views. The special luggage racks in the vestibules
of panorama cars or below the seats
are spacious and guarantee a comfortable
journey.
No more struggling with cases: when travelling
within Switzerland luggage can be handed
in until 7.00 pm and collected on the day
after the next from 9.00 am. This service is
available at every staffed station; please note
opening hours.
